Design Objective
Enhance fragrance communication for the LITTLE TREES Fiber Can line by reducing visual branding and expanding fragrance color cues. This update replaced the previous approach of using simple color blocking and Helvetica text to indicate fragrance names with distinctive, personality-driven logos, where applicable, to improve shelf recognition and strengthen fragrance storytelling. Given the compact product size, logos were optimized for maximum impact, extending color cues from the label to the lid for quicker consumer recognition at shelf, reinforcing the brand’s strategy of clear, intuitive fragrance communication. Additionally, the design update introduced a first-in-category innovation by incorporating artwork on the inner fiber, adding a small but impactful moment when the lid is removed, further reinforcing fragrance recognition and enhancing the unboxing experience.
